Sleeping In

This morning promptly at 5:45 I woke up refreshed. It was beautiful outside, the sky was blue with no clouds. The tree outside my window had brilliantly lit green leaves. Everything was perfect for biking to work.
I rolled over, and snoozed for another hour.
Not that I’m being lazy. I’m just exhausted from a full week. Fireworks this weekend, Circus Wednesday, and staying up late every night doesn’t help either. In my defense it was only 50ºF.
Looks like the monsoon is finally over. Have I gotten lazier? Probably. Do I need to compensate for 2 months of no sunlight? YES.
